Paint the World Pink.

Serves me right for not sleeping sleeping for 3 hours or less each night since monday.

I woke up with a devil of a headache, starting right between my eyes. So crap painful, like someone was pulling my nerves or something. It's like those 2 times i scratched my cornea except that i havent been wearing my contacts much now.

Guess i have to check that soon.

Anyway, so i missed the chem retrial. That's stupid. Why? Cause i actually want to get it over with. I screwed up paper 3 so badly he is definitely going to bitch-slap me.

I basically put everything in opposite for his redox cell and lets not venture into the experiment. Utter disaster.

On a brighter note though, the headache subsided after waking up and just now, my mum got an invite to the Estee Lauder Breast Cancer dinner this coming thursday.

Funny coincidence how cempaka is having a cancer awareness and fashion launch on monday of the same week. Hmm.

Anyway, the invite looked darn nice so here are some pictures. If youre wondering, yes, i asked my mum whether i could go along with her but she said i probably couldnt cause all 4 seats were taken. Well, doesnt hurt to ask right? I really wanted to see Carven Ong's dresses.

The front of the envelope. Plain but very pink.

Shouldnt it be pink world? Well, anyway, this is the back.

And out comes the card, aptly held closed with a perfectly tied pink ribbon.

Too bad you just had to de-tie it.

The 'envelope' opens like a flower showing a hot pink card with the list of activities for the night.

Not just one card but five, all pink-ish.

Card no 1: note the table no stated. Pleasures exotic? No, dont get any bright ideas, that's the name of one of their perfumes. But im at a lost as to why it's a table number and my mum is seated at it. >< Card No 2: sponsors and whoever else.

Back of Card no. 2: A very sexy looking Elizabeth Hurley for Estee Lauder.

Now, for the fun part. The dresses from Malaysian designers that will be on show.

No 1: Carven Ong. I love this dress. Part jewel/beaded bra. Heck, why not? I think Emily would go well with this. Dont you think so, Erwan? :)

No 2: Eric Choong. Another pretty one. A little more cleavage. Very good for Alia.

no 3: Ridzwan Bohari. Doesnt look too bad but i still prefer the first 2.

No 4: Khoon Hooi. Met the guy at Stylo. Looks very audrey hepburn + high maintenance. I like it. Perfect for our head prefect.

No 5: Tom Abang Saufi. Traditionally elegant.

De Gem, a sponsor. I think the model's pose is ridiculous.

See why i wanna go see Carven Ong's creations?

Anyway, I shall wait for the freebies. If there happens to be any.

I end with a picture from the Putrajaya Fireworks Competition. I thought the long escalator looked particularly cool.
