H I !
Okay okay. I'll cut the crap.
H I !
This is going to be a little post for us by me. :) It's been one heck of a long 5 years together and this is just something for all of us to reflect back on. Hey, it's already the 31st of December 2008. The end of our final school year is definitely looming.
wtf?!?!?! End of school?!?!?! *gasp* NO MY POWERS!!!
We left school a few months ago and for some (me included), it hasn't really sunk in yet. New environment, new friends. How to manage it all without some indian accented jokes from our indian machas (niraj and jun kit) or little bit of impersonation (kah fai and izzat)?
But you got that right. It's time to stop hiding behind mommy's skirt and start being a little more independent.
The 5 years i've spent in Cempaka (despite them vacuuming alot of funds from us) was just plain fun. From the moment i went to school on my first day as a cempakan in Class 1 Aqua- Amanda, Nellisa, Athira, Sher Mein, Joelyn, Jasmine and Katt :) I will never ever forget Izzat in his young years rapping and making Cik Nor cry. First met Mr. Avinash and he was my tutor. Well, we all know the rumours surrounding him. :)
On to form 2, i was promoted to 2 cempaka and the first person to talk to me when i entered was Kenneth. And i still remember what he said. "Eh, you're Denny's sister right?" And that was the start of the bottle/wallet/pencilbox/book/anything else you might own and leave on the table snatching fad. God, that was bloody irritating. Damn. Pn. Rostita also made up that random Michael/ Alonso/ Kurniawan name thing. "I talk, you stop, i talk, you stop!" Owh, and yes, Sean proclaimed out loud my room was purple with sheer curtains or something like that. People actually asked me if it was and how he knew that.
yee kan: ehehe... kenneth still not as cute as me...
Form 3 started and all of us fretted on PMR. Alia, Aemilia, Emily, Feri and I sat together and all those times we acted in English class was the bomb. Dear God, Firdaus came to our class too and turned it upside down. All the bag smashing. It was nuts. I'm sure you didn't forget his song: "1 little 2 little 3 little indians..." Haha. I dearly miss Pn Azizan, Cik Niza and Miss Sheela. :) Niraj had a crush on her and that other teacher.... what's her name? The really tall one. Sorry to say but i can't remember much about our PMR drilling. All i know was that i was with the Rs, Ns, Ss and Ts. I think i sat next to Niraj right?? Miss Tok drilled us about where we stayed and showing off her sense of direction. Happy to say 4 of us got our 7As :)
Form 4 reemerged and we met the devil's incarnate (or so he would like us to think), the invincible Mr. Sheat. That was the start of a whole new era. Haha. Must not forget Cik Zakiah, my beloved mentor :) Physics was a bitch to me but Chem was alright. I had alot of shit that year but i can't say there werent parts of it i hadn't enjoyed. :) There was of course, Witches of Oz :) We sewed like crazy; Em, Ness and I. Plus, we became ushers and ran out to be on stage every time! I. We also had those RAG projects that was never used and our Bio imovie presentation. Quang's and Kenneth's were really funny.
Finally oh finally, came form 5. The stress level was at its maximum. I became the deputy hp and together, aemilia and i had the longest and craziest phone conversations ever. We all got scolded alot for this and that too. Remember the Study Skills presentation? That was so unintentional but it got off the wrong way terribly in almost every angle. There was Prefect's Camp too where i was freezing to death in the morning of training but things went pretty well :) REMEMBER Kevjumbo?! :D Then came SPM drilling. Pn. Jamaliah was on steroids. Pn. Noor Jamaliah was on ecstasy. The work was nuts. Bio work, phys papers, maths questions.... it never seemed to end. But it did :)
.... okay, you didnt really think WE of all batches could go off without a bang, did you? The Smashing Six did it all for us. (the person who penned that name btw is a genius) Of course, these guys were "honoured" in our very own Prom at One World Hotel. :)
And that, dears, is the end of our school life. For good.
Had fun? I hope you did. Life's gonna get a little tough from now on but there's always that thing called the phone. Im really going to miss all of you :( All your laughter, your racism, your help, your jokes, your antics, your advice, your randomness, your ability to piss off teachers without really trying to.... all of it really made everything that much special and i dont care if they want to think we're the worst they've seen; we're the most historical. Definitely will be talked about for years to come in the cempaka classrooms :)
I wish you all the very best and take care! I dont give a mickeys if you end up in Timbuktu, we better be keeping in touch.

Who i met in form1: Apart from the 1 Aqua group;
Alia- lol, i remembered i left something in 1 cempaka's class and it so happened to be in alia's desk.
Rachel- Through kat then again during the Lion's Competition. :)
Rina- She was there when Rachel was saying hi. Later i found out we were bloody kindergarten buddies. HAHA. My mum remembered you so well rina. Wondered what you did. :)
Sean- in essence i met him during our entrance exam but i was moody and antisocial to try making small talk to a stranger. Lol, i remember those days in school. "HI STEPHANIE!" Haha. I found him extremely eager, like an energizer bunny or something. Julius and him somehow then found my email? Unexpected stuff.
Julius- :) Std 6 tuition mate from Sri Hartamas! Those were the days.
Niraj- the guy who i thought was CRAZY cause he kept on following Mr.Avinash everywhere. Also followed Ilyana. Ehehehehe. I still remember looking at his report card on the last day and cursing in my head. (He beat me like hell)

Who i met:
Marcia- okay so i met her when we were doing the entrance exam too but i didnt talk to her. Finally did when i hanged about with Rachel and gang. :)
Emily- LOL. So my mum was talking about a certain interior designer's daughter and i had no idea who she was but finally she introduced herself. :) English class, i think. See i still remember. She was really shy and cute.
Aemilia- Walking to the bus.... "eh, HI! I'm Aemilia, Nice to meet you!" Expect Aemilia to be all sugary, haha. :)
Shi Ann- Villamaria alumni! Lol.
Izza- SKBD! I remember we were pretty good friends in std 2 before she moved.
Kenneth- said sentence. Annoying as hell. I nearly killed him. Seriously. :)
Quang- Think we started talking since we were being kiasu and comparing marks. Should have killed him and kenneth all those years ago to save myself the annoyance. :)
Chun Foong/Erwan/Ken Min/Edwin/Yee Kan- The other group besides Rachel and gang. :) Racing in maths, as always. I'll always remember Ken Min and Edwin in Pn. Rostita's class.
