When i got hold of their American Idiot album years ago, i used to play it every single day for about a month until i got so sick of the songs. And during that time, i infected my brother with the album and it drove me nuts cause even when i wasnt playing it i'd still hear it in the house. Crazy but true shit.
Maybe it'll happen again with 21st Century Breakdown. I love these people.
And you know Red Jumpsuit Apparatus has this song called 'You Better Pray' from their new album which has the SAME drum beat as Green Day's new single Know Your Enemy?
No kidding. It's almost exactly the same but it's really cool to see that the same drum beat can be used in a shouty partially hardcore rock song as well as a pretty upbeat pop rock one like GD's. Well... drum beat only what right.
But still its kind of cool.
Ok i go do something more productive than this now. :/
