Romantic Pick.

I should be reading Biology or Physics but im so worn out. And partially lazy.

My parents arent here but instead of going out myself with the help of the driver to get some food outside (and waste time), i stayed in and watched tv almost the whole day. Plus, i played with their respective cars. Yeah, i took the keys and did stuff.

No, i didnt kill anyone.

Yesterday was so...... well, yeah. I dont know how to describe it exactly (not that i really want to) but it got me wanting to watch some gushy romantic movie.

So what is a more fairy-tale romance than Pretty Woman??

Then i realized something.

Did you realize that alot of romantic shows/movies/books have a very dashing leading man/protagonist named Edward??

Okay, lets run through.

Since the show is opening here soon and it's become such a cult hit (thanks to kenneth for introducing it to me before pretty much anyone knew about it here), everyone knows Edward Cullen. Everybody wants Edward Cullen too.

Then in Pretty Woman, Richard Gere's character is called Edward Lewis.

Must not forget Jane Austen's novels. Yeah, i read them. They're really good, despite the long winding rambling old english. Anyway back to the point, there's Edward Ferrars in Sense and Sensibility. If you've seen the old movie, the character is played by Hugh Grant, i think. And then Edmund Bertram of Mansfield Park. Okay, not Edward la but almost the same thing. They're both the main squeeze in the novels.

And if i read correctly, the novel Jane Eyre has a character called Edward Rochester? Not sure about this one, i didnt read Charlotte Bronte.

I definitely know there's more to this but i cant think of anymore. So yeah. Edward. Choice pick for romantic names. Funny though how Edward Cullen the vampire stumps all these rich, old english fellas rather easily with all his mega popularity and him biting pillows etc.

Btw, isnt it coming out here on the 27th of November? Twilight, i mean? If that's true, isnt that the official LAST day of SPM? Shouldnt we be trying to buy tickets?! Okay, maybe not. The movie is probably going to be spoiled by rabid and very excited fans that cannot contain showing off their twilight knowledge.

Hey.... Spm is ending next week. Just a little bit more and we're officially done with school.

Sad, scary but well, it's finally time right?

Well... Edward is a nice and practical name. =) I actually kinda like it. (Scott is my favourite though. =X)

Personally, I don't like that Pattinson guy as Edward Cullen AT ALL. It was such a letdown after reading the books (I was hooked since the first time I picked it up from MPH's bookshelf) and having him all ter-imagined in my head. -lol-

Oh btw, good luck in ur SPM! ^^
