In the Middle of Nowhere.

Okay okay... not really in the middle of nowhere but if not for the myriad of electrical items i brought along with me (plus chargers), i would have gone mad.

As i said, i went back to Kuala Pilah, N9 (remember the dryest place in the country?) to check out this house my parents build so that everyone in the family can stay together instead of bunking with relatives all over the place. Apparently it's become quite a talk of the town. Random people start coming into the house to see it and start going on and on saying "ai tua!" (means so big).

So yeah.

The first day was pretty uneventful. My brother and i hid ourselves and slept from 3 something to 6 before eating dinner and playing the PSP till the night. The house was full of people trying to finish it up so we weren't allowed to stay but i did take quite a few pictures.

The next day, we were all supposed to clean the house but somehow my mum and aunt finished that up early in the morning by themselves. I helped move the altar from my grandparents old shophouse to its new residence and then lounged around taking pictures again. It wasn't long before the both of us sat behind the counter to hide from extra chores. Hehe. We had to eat lunch standing up which was pretty funny + painful.

The seats and other furniture only came around 3 and my mum ordered barstools and everyone was occupying themselves sliding up and down them.

After dinner, we put on temporary bedsheets and slept on our new bed/mattress. I couldnt really sleep well cause alot of the big glass doors on the ground floor couldnt lock; technically, the locks weren't even installed yet. Don't ask me why we still slept in there. It just felt so unsafe.

Today, we packed out stuff, ate breakfast with my uncle and aunt in their house and left. Arrived home about 12, half-dead. I have to go back there again for a open house and my cousin is finally coming back from Switzerland after a year+. Should be good. S is also coming back so that's something to talk about.
