Velvetnoir: Just because i can means i should

Yesterday was kind of slow. Till like 3 something that is.

Cause

I only had one extra ticket so i invited Sook Yee to join me since she's a big fan of Kasabian. Cool stuff. Only one i havent heard songs from were Ray Gun and i ended up loving them like mad. The front man is kind of hot and their songs are upbeat; just right for them to show off on stage.

Basically:

1. Estranged - despite the weirdly dressed band members, they were pretty good.
2. Boys Like Girls - Sorry, i dont really like 'em. They were decent i guess though i could hardly hear the guy singing.
3. Ray Gun - Rocks like hell. They really made it more up beat esp for me. I enjoyed them alot
4. Pixie Lot - Not impressed. I dont like that Mama do song it's just so repetitive it drives me mad. Plus, she was lip syncing half way. It was on the big screen.
5. Hoobastank - Doug Robb is just.... :) My highlight of the night esp. when they randomly played Ghostbusters just for the fun of it and Crawling in the dark. Best act for the night. They were fun and talked to the crowd a whole lot which is really sweet.
6. All American Rejects - er..... what was there to say? You know their songs (also very repetitive). It was either swing swing swing swing, move along move along, gives you hell give you hell, dirty little secret dirty little secret and now i wanna i wanna i wanna. Know where im going? They were ok for me but i guess everyone here is a big fan just because the music is good but the lyrics are mindless. Tyson looked drugged in his yellow singlet covered in sparkle dust and sweat. Funny.
7. Kasabian - i find it sad people left without seeing them, how so not fun. I only knew 2 songs from them which were Shoot the Runner and Fire but they were great nonetheless :) The hardcore fans they had were madly dancing about.

The only thing i regret was not checking out the post party (too tired) and MISTAKING RAY GUN MEMBERS FOR BOYS LIKE GIRLS therefore not asking them for a picture when they appeared in front of me at the hotel. God, i really really feel so so stupid.
